The Leica Apo-Televid 65 Straight Scope Body is a compact, top class spotting scope as it is under 12inches long. Due to its size and low weight it is ideal for those who are active during the day and want to take the spotting scope with them, without comprimising quality or performance. It has been lovingly built to deliver optical excellence and durability as it is nitrogen-filled and waterproof up to 17ft (5m). The bayonnet eyepiece lock means a quick change is easy other for eyepieces and ensures that it is kept firmly in place. The Leica dual-focus system also has an additional crosspiece which helps enormously in low light. The rubber protective armour and the robust magnesium housing measn the unit is comfortable to hold and absorbs shocks effectively, it also gaurantees silent viewing. On all Leica APO models, an optically neutral front lens glass protects the sensitive optics from harsh weather conditions.
